There are people who think textile engineering is just about knitting pullovers... that's ridiculous. That's what my grandma does.

With textiles and other synthetic materials you will see a topic incredibly relevant in future. Carbon composites are not just several times stronger than steel, they also have just a factional amount of the weight. Experience it in one of the most beautiful cities in Germany - in wonderful Dresden.

Information for applicants

Selection criteria:

We will select 23 participants on their motivation letter, their great answers to our questions, crazy spirit and we will try to keep diversity between countries and equal number of girls and boys.

Practical arrangements

All of the following are covered by the event fee:

Lodging:

In a hostel not far from the university's campus.

Meals:

At least one hot meal per day.

Transportation:

Common transportation.
