Creating Sustainable Products Through Radical Innovation

In an increasingly populated world with an exponential growth in resource consumption, there is a clear need to re-address our behaviour as a society. The past few decades have seen a vast increase in the amount of products that the developed world consumes, in order to satisfy its needs and desires. If we are to be able to continue to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle, it is essential that we begin to consider the conservation of the world?s depleting resources.

This year?s BEST summer school at DTU, ?Creating Sustainable Products Through Radical Innovation? will focus on understanding the levels of innovation necessary to achieve results that drive future products to being sustainable. In the classroom we will train a comprehensive understanding of state-of-the-art product development techniques. In the project room we will carry out concentrated explorations of technology in order to develop vastly improved product solutions for sustainability.
