EBEC Local 2017 Rome Tor Vergata
Event description
EBEC (European BEST Engineering Competitions) is the event where teams of students use their technical, social and communication skills to fulfill a specific task or case. In this competition under specific conditions (time, situation, materials, etc), teams of students compete to provide the most optimised solution in terms of performance, cost and innovation. EBEC is the perfect bridge between students, companies and universities it involves all the stakeholders.
The competition is divided in two categories:
• Team Design;
• Case Study;
The winners of each category will qualify to the national competition together with the winners of the competitions of the other participating universities: Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Torino, Sapienza - Università di Roma, Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and Università degli Studi di Messina. The winners of that round will compete in the European final with the winners of the other National/Regional stages in Brno(Czech Republic).
