Rage against the machine! Human - Machine Interaction.

General description

Everyday things facilitate and irritate our lives, both due to the designer. Don't you hate when you can't figure out in which direction the door opens?

Now, imagine that happens when you are trying to get out of a ship's machinery room in the middle of the sea. What if we tell you that the engine is in flames?? Even worse... you can't see the emergency button...

Through this technological course you will learn more about human capabilities and limitations especially from the seafarers’ perspective. You will learn how to collect information from the shipping domain in order to transform into usable knowledge and how to apply this new knowledge when you plan and design marine technology. This knowledge will help you improve the interaction between the user and the machine in order to make it more intuitive, effective and intelligent. All this from the marine technology point of view.

So...come to Gothenburg and party with one of the most international Best Groups. Discover one of the most dynamic cities of Scandinavia in it's best time of the year, eat some surströmming, meet some blondes (guys and girls), and enjoy our 3 hour long summer nights!
