Content and topics:

1. Biotechnologies for food 2. Biotechnologies for cosmetics 3. Biopharmaceuticals 4. Biochemicals 5. Bioremediation and Special equipment used in Biotechnology 6. Biochemical engineering.

Learning goals and objectives:

- Presenting the principles of biotechnologies - Comparative analysis and presenting of the specific aspects of the biotechnologies for food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, environmental protection - Making the difference between the biotechnologies and chemical technologies - Learning the language specific for biosciences

Examination type:

Evaluation will be of interview and/or test type.

Selection criteria:

Compulsory requirements---->high-spirited!!! If it happens to have some knowledges on the subject it's even better......so amaze us with your motivation letter!

Practical arrangements

All of the following are covered by the event fee:

Lodging:

The students will be hosted in the student dormitories of the "Gh. Asachi" Technical University of Iasi. There will be two people in the room.

Meals:

Breakfast will be prepared by the organisers (good luck...there were no victims so far...but you never know :) ). Warm meals will be served for lunch and dinner at a restaurant.

Transportation:

Mainly transportation will be assured by the organisers.
