BEST Collaborative Coding Experience

General description

During the course, each group will design and create a web application that utilizes a RESTful API of their choice. The application is developed with a collaborative web-based development environment CoRED, using Vaadin web framework. At the end of the course each group will give a short presentation and a demo of their work.

Furthermore, you will learn what kossu, jallu and perkele stand for, explore Tampere and the surroundings, experience sauna, long Finnish summer nights and have the full experience of student life in the greatest student town in Finland.

Practical arrangements

All of the following are covered by the event fee:

Lodging:
Student dormitory (3 big rooms).
Meals:
Breakfast in the dormitory - Lunch in the canteen - Dinner in the dormitory/restaurant/barbeque.
Transportation:
Public transportation when needed, but everything is rather close by.
