Ethanology: Brew the Fuel of the Future

General description

You think you know everything about beer? But did you know you can also use alcohol to power cars, laptops, phones or bunnies?

During this course you can learn what alcohol has to do with technology - or better said ethanology - and how it can solve the energy crisis. See how ethanol is produced, how fuel cells work and where they can be used to solve the problems of the future.

But this course is not only about theory: in the practical part you learn how to brew YOUR OWN BEER! What location could be better for this course than the (unofficial) German beer capital Erlangen: about 300 breweries can be found in the surrounding area and during our parties you will have plenty of chances to find your favorite one. We will also visit the world famous "Christkindlesmarkt" (Christmas market) in our neighbor town Nuremberg. And of course you don't want to miss our city rally and the pub crawling!
