Multimedia Technology for WEB Design - A project based learning environment

General description

Multimedia Technology for WEB Design is intended for students who want to enter the exciting world of developing WEB products with multimedia components as form of human communication in the informational age.

The course is multidisciplinary oriented on fundamental principles of communication sciences, computer science, music, graphic arts and design.

The main parts examine the history and uses of multimedia and Web, the role of computer network in creating and delivering multimedia, a brief survey of multimedia applications, hardware and software used in modern multimedia, future multimedia systems.

The course uses project based learning as a learning method, students are encouraged to work in teams for development, experimentation an presentation small multimedia Web project with real objects ( sound , images, text, speech).
