Risk assessment in contaminated areas

General description

Industrial activities throughout Europe produce a number of liquid and solid wastes as well as aerial pollutants that severely contaminate soils, surface- and groundwater. Risk assessment aims to assess the risk and assists in the selection of the most viable technologies for the rehabilitation of contaminated sites.

A number of technologies are used in laboratory and pilot scale as well as in situ in order to remediate wastes, disposed of in waste dumps and elsewhere, clean up contaminated soils and prevent groundwater contamination.

At the same time you will have the opportunity to enjoy the summer on the island of Crete, go for sightseeing, explore the nightlife, learn traditional dances and practise your skills in cretan chess!

Crete is a place with long history and bright future...so come and explore it by yourself !!! APPLY NOW !!!
