Polymers: from Nanomaterials to High-Tech Polymers

General description

The course will give an overview of some special techniques in the

polymers science and their field of application. Professor R. Legras,

from Poly, the laboratory of the Polymers Physic of the Faculty of

Engineering, will therefore give a lecture of general purposes

and some pre-required knowledge in order to allow the students

to understand the theoretical topics treated in the next. Then,

some PhD students of the laboratory will present one or more

techniques relative to their thesis and to a common subject

where these methods take place, for example a F1-car. The laboratory

will organize a day where the students can also make several

manipulations, discovering the techniques shown in each stand.
