General description

Dear adventurers and explorers,

Less than 6 months from now, 22 engines all over Europe will start barking, roaring and howling.

These 22 engines will take 22 engineers to Ghent: the place where it's all gonna happen.

Prepare for 11 days of immense fun, kick-ass parties, fascinating lectures and great food!

This course will analyze a car's life cycle energy use, present the main contributors to its carbon footprint and cover different ways in reducing it!

Find out:

- Whether or not your uncle is right, still driving around in that 30 year old wreck.

- If we will all be driving those fancy electric cars in a couple of years.

- Which new materials will be used for the car of the future.

During company visits and presentations, you will see how the answers to these questions are put into practice.

Of course, to further reduce our carbon footprint, we will leave our cars in the garage from time to time and take you on a boat trip or biking tour through Ghent, the city of the 3 towers.

Together with you and 21 other awesome people, we will explore the city's nightlife, let you experience the Belgian meaning of the word 'cantus', take you on a weekendtrip and so much more!

Don't worry about your stomach, we'll keep your engines working on Belgian chocolate, Belgian fries and our famous Belgian beers.

Do you feel that little igniting spark inside? Then turn the key, start the car and apply now!
