'Engineer = entrepreneur'- True or false?
How would it be to schedule your own working hours and work from any place in the world? Could it be possible to be your own boss?! Do you know what are the ingredients of being an engineer-entrepreneur?
It is a common perception that engineers are not qualified enough to be successful entrepreneurs. Empower yourself, take the lead and become one, because nowadays value lies in time and mobility not in money. Entrepreneurship could be enhanced by virtual mobility and moreover it would increase the possibilities for a flexible set-up of international placements and provide the background for inter-cultural competencies, in a professional environment. That is why this summer, in Timisoara, we will go beyond the limits of entrepreneurship and virtual mobility in European Engineering Education.
BEST Academics and Companies Forum provides you with opportunities of having an impact on the new trends in European Engineering Education. During interactive sessions with representatives of both academic and corporate sectors you will generate ideas and provide suggestions on a project funded by European Commission. Make your voice heard all around Europe and shape the future.
This event is organized in collaboration with PROVIP and Timisoara Software Business Incubator. PROVIP, Promoting Virtual mobility in Placements, is a project under the Lifelong Learning programme funded by the European Commission, who will provide their expertise on virtual mobility in placements. Timisoara Software Business Incubator was founded in order to support the implementation of viable and innovative business ideas and thus ensures the insight on the market's needs.
Above all you will experience real Romanian hospitality and stunning sights. With other students from all over Europe, you will learn all about tuica, sarmale, mamaliga and many others. We promise you will find your inner entrepreneur in Timisoara, this summer!
