Being face 2 face with signals, a few application that will give you the ability of evaluating the potential of some feature extraction methods, signal conditioning (having as application face detection) and face-based person authentification will be presented to you.
So, don't wait too much ... we're anxious to be face 2 face with you.

Selection criteria:

We will basicly look for aliens with big smile on their faces and yes, indeed some motivation and knowledge on the topics.

Practical arrangements

All of the following are covered by the event fee:

Lodging:

The students will be hosted in the student dormitories of the "Gh. Asachi" Technical University of Iasi. There will be two people in the room.

Meals:

Nothing... bring food from home. And being serious: Breakfast will be prepared by the organisers. Warm meals will be served for lunch and dinner at a restaurant.

Transportation:

Mainly transportation will be assured by the organisers.
