Introduction to Field and Service Robotics

General description

This course is a tutorial to state-of-the-art of robotics. The field and service robots are the next generation robots, that are no longer working in the factories. The key difference to the factory robots is that they are mobile. Mobility broadens the application area of and obliges robots to interact more with the environment and humans.

In addition to the lectures and excursions you'll get to experience Finnish nature, parties, nightlife of Helsinki and of course the real Finnish sauna.

Learning goals and objectives:
