Software or hardware!? What about both?

General description

During this BEST course students/participants will be educated on a certain IT topic as well as will get familiar with the culture of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They will have a chance to taste traditional food and drinks and learn about history of this country.

Since this is a learning event, the participants will have a chance to visit local companies and find out how they operate and work in specific field that this course is studying.

This course is going to be combination of theory and practical knowledge, but with bigger accent on practical value. So, in 6 working days participants will gain:

basic knowledge on Arduino boards, sensors, and similard devices, but also will get basic programming skills of mentioned hardware

basic understanding of server-side handling of all the data collected from hardware from previous step. So, in the end, they will be comfortable to use generic cloud backend simulator, so they can ensure the data for frontend applications and data serve to the end users

on last step all the participants will have theory knowledge about data presentation to the end users through web, mobile and desktop apps. Even more, they will get a chance to develop their own apps and to present real collected data from step one.

Last but not least, all the participants will be divided in multi-functional agile teams in the middle of the course, so they all can be able to have MVP of their first Internet of Things product on the end of the course. So, we will have team design competition on the course.

Additionally, every team will be contained of bellow roles:

Arduino developer

Backend cloud integrator

Web frontend developer

Designer

Project Manager

Topic related expert (it depence of team design topic. Could be agriculture, mechanical engineer, health engineer, medicine or biology engineer, etc etc... Will decide about these based on participants primary education on selection process)

So, thanks to these roles we ensure our course can accept every kind of engineer, not just electrical/IT/software engineers. So, this just could be one more reason for you to apply.
