Usability Engineering

General description

As traditional product qualities, such as functionality, reliability, and price have been partly replaced, partly modified by aspects such as comfort, satisfaction, and usability, usability has become an important competitive quality for manufacturers on a competitive market. The aim of the course is to provide knowledge about the development process and the methods and tools which characterize Usability Engineering. Furthermore, the course will address basic principles for designing usable and easy-to-use interfaces, products, and systems.
